The MobileAccess Product Family provides converged wireless enterprise networks that guarantee business-quality performance and reliability for all of your data and voice wireless services.

The MobileAccess suite of products supports multiple wireless data and voice services within the same building or campus on a single, cost-effective, broadband infrastructure. Converged wireless networks are far less expensive than parallel wireless networks. The MobileAccess suite offers enterprises and wireless service providers a range of solutions for cellular voice, cellular data, two-way radio, Wireless LAN, and paging in any environment - including offices, public venues, hospitals, or universities.

System Overview

The Radio Interface Unit (RIU) and the Base Unit seamlessly connect to wireless service providers' networks and then convert the cellular voice and data services from Radio Frequency (RF) to optical signals. Remote Units are located throughout the building or campus and connected to the Base Unit/RIU with fiber-optic cabling. The patented MobileAccess technology allows for one fiber pair to support all services to each remote location and is the only solution where all voice and Wireless LAN services radiate from a single antenna.
