The growing demand for wireless technologies to service commercial and retail based clients is pushing property developers, builders and contractors to cater for this demand as part of the base building responsibilities. Shopping Centres, Airports, Convention Centres, Stadiums, Commercial Office Towers and even Residential Towers are driving this demand. Industry organizations, such as the Property Council of Australia, are now defining a strict set of technical standards for building construction, with the scale of wireless technology being directly linked to the grade of the building.

Wireless technologies should be deployed as part of the construction phase of a building. Installing this technology after a building has been handed over to the client, particularly once the tenants have moved in, creates a significant amount of disruption to tenants, clients and the general public. The cutting of ceilings and walls, movement of ceiling tiles, penetration of floor risers, breaking of fire protection barriers and many other frustrating activities need to take place to deploy the wireless technology after a building has been handed over.

Enersus has established a strong relationship with many developers, builders, electrical and communication contractors to work in cooperation with the project team to deploy wireless technology into the building during the construction phase. In many cases, Enersus has engaged the onsite communications contractor to install the cabling infrastructure, where the Enersus technicians will terminate, test and commission the system. This model has proven to be the most effective method to deploying Mobile Phone, Wireless LAN, Two Way Radio and many other wireless technologies during the construction phase.
